Mechanic
I haven’t owned a car for a number of years. My life is Bicycle-centric. Understanding the lifestyle both explicitly and tacitly. Meaning its one thing to wrench on a bike and heed the specs, its another to experience the bicycle, its another to experience Life on a bicycle, and its yet another to be able to convey the “Way of the Bicycle” thru a means of living. Sport, Transport, Sustainability, Economic value, Health, Spiritual and Emotional context is what I’m trying to convey here.
I know what it means to have a Bicycle Lifestyle. From running errands on the bike, daily transportation, grocery shopping, recreational rides, sport rides with your friends, elbow to elbow in a sprint, a tour down the west coast, to racing a Mountain bike along the Continental Divide.
With the Surly Big Dummy cargo bike, I am available as a mobile bike mechanic, servicing the Monterey Peninsula.
Guide
Guide service is available from Touring, Mountain bike rides, to local road rides. I’ve done tours along the California Coast, and currently my notions are focusing on backcountry touring. I have a detailed knowledge of The Monterey Peninsula, being able to put together a variety of rides.
Sherpa
Have cargo bike, will haul. Hauling duties from local errands to Touring.
Support
If its bike related, I’m interested. If you’d like to tour down the coast and not carry everything, while having a guide, Devo and The Dummy are available for your Tour Hauling needs.
