Pug goes to Santa Cruz
One day I decided i to ride to Santa Cruz on the Pug using the beach! At Monterey Dunes Colony i got back on Molera Rd, took HWY1 North and thru the fields, over the Pajaro River via Trafton Rd to Sunset State Beach where i got some fresh water, had lunch, then onto the beach and rode north up to New Brighton State Beach where i camped. in the morning I rode up into Forest of Nisene Mark back to camp the night again at New Brighton State Beach. The next morning was back to Pacific Grove this time all along the paved road, along SanAndres Rd. by the time i got back into Monterey, the cold and drizzle had demoralized my spirit, as I had become accustomed to nice sunshine and warmth in Santa Cruz. all in all....a super cool trip a route, an experience that is unique to riding a bike like the Pug. peace...d
